PHYSICAL EDUCATION(5-8)
ABOUT MR. CLARK
Dear Parent/Caregiver,
Greetings from Chocksett Middle School (CMS), and welcome to another academic school year. My name is Bradley Clark, and I will be instructing your child in the subject of physical education.
This is my seventh year teaching at CMS! I have been teaching physical education in the Wachusett Regional School District since 2006. From 2011 to 2014, I had the privilege of working as the Instructional Coach for PE, Health, and Wellness (www.wrsdcurriculum.net/BeFit.html). Prior to this administrative position, I served as the middle school physical education teacher at Mountview Middle School in Holden. My years of experience of working directly with the students, faculty, staff, and administration t have all contributed to my continued development and learning as a professional in the field of physical education. Both the students within the classroom and participants in co-curricular activities have enriched my knowledge of instruction and have shown me how rewarding being a teacher/instructor really is! District faculty and staff have supported me with guidance and feedback, and administration have provided me with the opportunity to learn the efforts that go into making a school function. I have felt like a part of the CMS team since the first day I came on board, and am grateful for the continued experience that I have had.
Personally, I have an extreme dedication and passion for the field of physical education. I am active in professional development, as well as physical activity. In addition to my administrative and instructional experience, I have also served as a coach, referee, and a coordinator for a basketball development program. I have attended and presented at annual physical education conferences in order to stay abreast of the most up-to-date developments in the field. It is my hope to continue my development both at a professional and instructional level, and provide CMS students with the best physical education experience as possible!
I anticipate a school year full of learning, activity, and most importantly, fun! If at any time you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at (978) 422-6552.
Regards,
Bradley T. Clark

TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
My personal philosophy is to teach my students how to lead healthy and active lives. Following those guidelines set by the state of Massachusetts and the SHAPE standards, I strive to instill ethics, values, and promote each student to be a good citizen. I hope to model my own passion for physical education to the students, and promote habits of regular physical activity. I will facilitate the skills that are necessary for learning how to lead happy and healthy active lives.
